Vivaria in ENL Room 201 & Science Room 2011

We have our own living teaching resources in SHLA. The aquarium in Room 201 houses a tropical fish community, including a placostomus and a crayfish, maintained by the Fish Club.

Special thanks to Ricky the janitor who donated the crayfish. This aquarium has been in SHLA since 2012 as a "realia" learning resource. Click on the photo.

And in Science Room 211, we have a new vivarium with a baby female Chinese water dragon. This is her first weekend in her new home, so let’s hope she likes it. Ms Davis and Mr Martinez collaborated in obtaining the necessary equipment.

Chinese Water Dragon. Native to the humid jungles of Viet Nam, she needs places to hide, moisture and warmth.
